WHAT IS RECOVERY FROM EYELID SURGERY LIKE?

Recovery from eyelid surgery is one of the easiest cosmetic surgery recoveries. It is an outpatient procedure, meaning you’ll be able to go home right away. We’ll provide you with a cold compress and lubricant eye drops. With diligent use of the cold compress, you can keep swelling and bruising to a minimum. Pain should not be intense after your procedure and generally be handled using over-the-counter medication. Your stitches will be removed after one week and your recovery is then mostly complete. Light swelling may occur for the next few weeks but should resolve on its own.

HOW SOON AFTER MY EYELID SURGERY WILL I SEE RESULTS?

You should see the results immediately. Of course, there is some recovery time and swelling in the first few days but after a week or so, the results will be obvious but not dramatic. The best part about this procedure is how natural the results are. If you haven’t told someone about your surgery, they might not even know you had work done, they’ll just admire your more youthful appearance.
